The film is in the development and financing phase, in co-production with ,Toned Media, while the team carries out field work in the province of Soria, visiting different locations where filming will take place, scheduled for summer 2023.

After researching his family history, the director wants to capture in the documentary ,The crabs, the story of so many families from Soria who were victims of the repression of the Franco dictatorship.

The fear, uncertainty, bitterness and suffering that his great-grandfather suffered during the Civil War (1936-1939) and the beginnings of Francoism surfaced when he found the notebook in which he had recorded the hard experiences of those days.
