Our short film Royal estate, directed by Rubén Seca, co-produced with the production company Dosmentes Films linked to the Barcelona Cinema School – ECIB and with distribution carried out by Ismael Martín de Selected Films, It continues its journey through festivals around the world adding selections. During the month of November it will be screened at the Amarcort Film Festival of Italy, in the International Student Festival Beijing Academy of China, and in one of the most prestigious and oldest school short festivals in the world: The Etiuda&Anima in Poland.

Iñaki, who lives as a renter with an old income, begins to receive uncomfortable visitors at his house. He discovers that his apartment is for sale in a real estate agency. And the law allows you to sell your apartment with it included in the operation. His delicate state of health attracts speculators, but he has no intention of leaving the apartment.
Our commitment is to highlight those social aspects that invite reflection, beyond cinematography.
The filming of Royal estate It took place in Barcelona, in the Segarra house, which is part of the modernist buildings of the Ciutat Comtal. Currently in residential use, the location remains a place full of history. We take this opportunity to share the result of the making of of the short film, made by Guillem Almirall, from the El Ojo Tranquilo collective. We are very satisfied with the result and the work of the entire team.
